Olevine Purple Carrot Tea
A new tea recipe - featuring 5,000 year old ingredients
Dr Red Purple Carrot Olevine Tea is a loose leaf blend of Green Tea, dried Purple Carrot plus the amazing Dr Red Olevine extracts (the same extracts that go into Spearole Tea and Olevine Coffee).
Dr Red Purple Carrot Olevine Tea is for health conscious individuals who prefer a traditional tea taste, rather than spearmint flavour (as with the Dr Red Spearole tea). It tastes like a full bodied green tea and at about 25c per cup is great value for money.
The addition of Purple Carrot to this green tea/olive leaf/grape blend provides enhanced antioxidants without carrot flavour.
Dr Red's Purple Carrot products aim to provide a powerful concentrate of anthocyanins, which are the enormously strong anti-oxidants that give colour to foods such as blueberries and red grapes.

What is Purple Carrot?
Carrots were originally purple and grown for medicinal purposes. It was only when a group of Dutch breeders used a mutant seed in the 16th century that the orange variety began its rise to prominence.
And now, 400 years later, Professor Lindsay Brown of The University of Queensland testing will validate how the Australian grown Purple Carrot will surpass blueberries as the most powerful food on this planet.
The modern orange carrot is rich in beta-carotene, which gives its distinctive orange colour. The ancient purple carrot has double the level of beta-carotene than the orange variety and contains 28 times more anthocyanins.
